No it’s not a blast from the hip-hop past or that old school rap group who called themselves “Black sheep”.

Ezekiel 34:11-12

For thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

He also served as a deacon for six years (4/2000 – 4/2006) and walking into the seventh year he was ordained as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on 4/31/06. He lives, loves, and moves as Husband, Father and Spiritual Friend to many.

Labeled as the black sheep of his family, Duane Graham Foster struggled for several years of his life searching for his identity in the world while using his God given gift in the wrong manor in secular rap and poetry venues. After a long road of living in ignorance to whom he really was called to be, God Himself searched Duane out and delivered him from all the dark places where he was scattered in the world (Ezekiel 34:11-12).

His gift now exemplifies deliverance and testimonies of God’s mercy and grace. Because of his chosen life journey, he is now able to minister and reach a generation of people whom he believes that he is predestine and ordained by God to reach. His gift and ability to understand a person’s situation derives from his understanding of Gods Word in relationship to what he has experienced and bared wittiness to in this life. This understanding explodes on paper in his books and through the power of Spoken Word in whatever aspect that The Blacksheep appears.

The ministry of The Blacksheep is trendsetting and transparent. It’s powerful and promotional. It’s uplifting and inspirational. It’s motivational and mind blowing. It’s real and relational. It’s mysterious and unique, while being humble and meek. It’s designed to seek out those who are labeled as lost black sheep. Those who are considered to be the outcast of their families, yet God has not forgotten them or cast them out of His plan and purpose. God is simply waiting for His Devine appointed time to bring them out, raise them up, and then send them back out to be used for His Glory!
